Response to Hanafee’s Comments

Monday, May 5th, 2008

dear saudara hanafee,

definitely you opened up my horizon. no doubt.

i’ll try to follow more national issues from now on and probably occasionally drop by your shared blog 2 read your updates. so as to be more factual and relevant in my thinking and comments. interesting.

and yes interesting point, "question the SYSTEM PROCESS instead of just knowing the system", if my interpretation of your comment is correct?

but then again, i do believe that we can still implement the "REVERSE-DEBATE" thing (a correction to my initial idea of "ANTI-DEBATE"). i don’t think it’s too hard for the talented students to do so. why?

1st of all, the students, if competent should have studied into the weaknesses or admin of the opposition too in order to prepare themselves for the arguments the opposition could be raising up during debate.

you can never beat the opponent until you know what your opponent has in mind. it’s kinda like a the Sun Tze Strategy.

2nd, we are aiming to nurture leaders who can THINK ON THEIR FEET, here i stress on the EFFECTIVENESS and EFFICIENCY of our youths to CHALLENGE the current MODERATE PROGRESS.

the best debaters are those who can THINK ON THE SPOT and FIGHT INTELLIGENTLY, NOT BLINDLY!

just a sharing of ideas. by the way, i do respect you a lot and may i know which major did you undertake for your tertiary education (is it social science?) and which university is that?

are there specific positions you had undertaken in the past that helped brought up a candidate like you?

sorry for intruding your privacy, in case you feel offended in any ways, i deeply apologize and please feel free to ignore my questions.

just wish to understand your background so i can understand your stand and the making up of a distinct leader.

Response to Sabrina’s Political Findings

Monday, May 5th, 2008

first of all. i’m impressed with Sabrina’s blog post on the topic of How
our leaders mock free speech
.

http://wittybubblynerdy.blogspot.com/

you’re right. instead of seeing the difference we people
share, why can’t we see the common
visions we share
?

instead of debates, why can’t we start a whole new thing we
call, "Anti-debate".

imagine if schools start organizing this totally other way
round debates. you fight for the OPPOSITION/ your OPPONENT, with rock solid
points, and your opponents the other way round, fighting for your stand. and
see who won the battle.

see what i see? do not disclose the hidden agenda behind the
education value of that debate, which is to surprise them at the end of the day
by asking them to reflect upon themselves, "had you just fought for your
opponents? had you not proven that they are as sound as you are or even much
better than you are?"

regardless of who you are, had you been seriously
considering the goods of your opponent instead of magnifying their bads.

can the future be better if everybody tries to make a tiny
difference by seeing others they never would have seen good as GOOD?

think about it.

imagine if somebody is able to level the
"playfield" of these opposing parties. the ex-PM perhaps, or somebody
wiser and yet has no political interest in any ways, widely recognized for his
or her impartialness. Perhaps a higher judge?

"let us all have a fair fight. let’s see if you can win
this real life debate."

"you can only win this deal/ bid by convincing us that
you see ALL the POSITIVES and that
you had checked the limitations and
CORRECT them
. afterall a REAL LEADER
is a leader who can make believe amazing
possibilities
and he or she will not be able to do so without the forevision of seeing the GOODs HAPPENING in
the EYE.
"

to the opponents, "imagine you are one of the government party leaders. what are
your strengths and how would you plan for a better national development by
using them?"

so to the government party, you expect the opposite.

"for every negative point you highlight, your 1 mark
credibility will be deducted, whereas for every positive point you highlight, you’ll get 2 marks added to your
credibility."

"let us not take our own party into the debate. for
every point we touched on our own party, 3 marks of credibility deducted!"

"let us not take this as a game, but a real deal. if
you win the debate, you win the parliament and we grant you the bid!"

"stop the fXXking rage by starting with ‘crap!
nonsense, this is totally impossible and i think it’s ridiculous because the
government/ the opposition has got NOTHING worth to be CREDITED for!’…"

"if you go about that way, you lose the bid,
effectively and immediately!" to be ruled by high court!

and we imagine the whole debate session running through and
done.

here comes the result, announcing, "the (government/
opposition) wins!"

everybody cheered and some, the losers might be pissed.

here comes the highest judge, "hadn’t we just found
some common grounds we can work together? so you win, but had you seen
something you had never given yourself a chance to see?"

let the crowds reflect upon themselves.

i’m pretty optimistic that the government party and the
opposition will shake hands and laugh together after.

if you think it’s too hard or almost impossible to have them
do so..

i have a suggestion.

assemble the youth debate talents and assign them their
roles of either side of the parties. let them study into the party first for
perhaps 1 week.

then on the exact date of the debate itself, INSTRUCT the above rules of the game by
a TWIST of CHALLENGE!

document the whole
thing. then show them to the public if it impresses them.

alternatively, assemble youth talents who are able to stage
dramas. present the sketch above and document them. but then i believe the
effect and impact wouldn’t be as strong cause it’s STAGED and PLOTTED. NOT REAL.

what do you think about it.

just my vision, hopefully it inspires.. thanks and great to
read your blog post!

=P i’m glad i know you sabrina

Dear beggars and the charity associations,

I have a dream. Thanks
to the sales person + beggar+ charity
person
who inspired me today. Yes he is a person playing 3 roles. And to be
honest I actually see another 4th role he was playing which is what actually
inspired me. I was extremely happy and entertained! And best of all, I got
inspired. And I hope as the following idea/ plan reveals itself, you too are
inspired to make a difference with me. =D

(*you can skip these 3 paragraphs to get to my points*)

The incident was simple, simpler than you can even imagine
capturing any person’s attention. We were at a roadside stall having dinner, me
and my family, while chatting and waiting, he interrupted. As all of you would
have expected, he tried to grab our sense of sympathy to sell his toothpaste. Well
what would you have done? If I were 2 years younger, I guess I would have
naively bought his products because I honestly sympathized him. Regardless of
how worthy is he, or how pitiful he is. But after being “educated” by my
parents, they cautioned me to not be cheated and not encourage physically healthy
or fit-looking people to beg as a “profession” because this encourages social “epidemic”.
So as you would have expected, especially with my parents around, sure we will
not look into their eyes and just ignore them.

Well most of the times you could be right, and we had just
managed to ignore and won 2 passing charity person and sales person. But who
knows, the 3rd came. And mum accidentally looked into his eyes, was
mum charmed by him? I was wondering. Nope. He wasn’t charming at all. And we
didn’t plan to buy his “pitiful” story at all. I was following closely his
every single moves and emotions displayed on his face. He was obviously lying. No
doubt about that. And you won’t even believe me, there was another person who interrupted,
he stretched his hand in from behind with an RM10 bill and without even showing
his face, he went off hiding in a corner! Lol! Yes “hiding”! And yes if I didn’t
mention that, he is a beggar! And then this sales guy started saying, “oh I’m
so touched, that guy always come from behind and pass me RM 10 and treats me
food, he is such a generous person, I’m so grateful, I’m from foreign country, I
have chest problem and I can’t work, and this guy always helped me I felt like
crying. I lost count of how many times he did this.. But this is not counted la,
because I am sure to return him this bill later. Because I owe him too much..”
yes you got it, obviously he was cheating, and yes obviously he planned ahead
of it. And yes, you can see how naively his satisfaction showed on his face
despite the pitiful voice he projected..” I’m pretty sure mum is not going to
pay him but I see that he had got his deal. Why? I saw it happening. I told
mum, “mi, just give him la. It’s RM10 and I think it is okay to get the 3
toothbrushes, even though we honestly stocked more than enough and it might be
more expensive than the market rate.” You can see how he took pleasure of the
trick he used, and he totally believed his idea was brilliant! So funny! I could
have told him off on the spot and let him down. But I honestly took pleasure
and was entertained by that little amusement too! How happy you can be by making another person happy! So sweet! After
that we were leaving and on the way back to home, I started telling my family
how I totally noticed their loopholes. They were not angry but amused! We laughed
it off and were happy about it. Especially for mum, she felt great about “teaching”
that guy to work in some other lines and not direct sales. Obviously again, he’s
not gonna change, especially having seen how he took pleasure from his little
trick. Mum has no idea she wasn’t gonna change him that way and on the contrary
could possibly encourage him to do more. How amusing..

As I continued to think about that naïve trick and the amusing scenes, suddenly something struck me! An
idea came by! And I actually believed it is brilliant!!

*

So here’s the deal. Dear charity associations, isn’t it
super hard for you to generate funds from the public? Isn’t it harder for you
ask volunteers to help generate funds for you? And hadn’t you known how many
shrewd people are ruining your benevolent idea of seeking funds from the public
by cheating? Especially using your benevolent idea to do so. And who are these
people? How pathetic. They not only ruined their own image, they also damage the
goodwill of charity work. Perhaps you had considered helping the beggars and
the needy by asking the healthier beggars to help raise funds by providing them
shelter and food? Had you? I bet you had.

As for our dear beggars, don’t you feel despised doing what
you do? Is begging fun? Is it worth begging for a living when you could have
opted something else? After all how much do you earn from begging? Don’t you
also have to work extremely hard begging to just get a few Ringgits a day? Or
do you not feel embarrassed at all? Perhaps you love begging more than facing a
mean boss nagging at you or carrying boxes day and night and not being
appreciated at all!

So are you thinking
along the line I am now thinking? The charity associations need volunteers to
help raise funds. The fund raisers who walk on street to solicit funds need to
have extreme patience to endure rejections. At the same time the charity
associations do not discriminate any people but are willing to help every needy
people, right? So the charity associations are ready to help the beggars for
the better as well. From the other point, the
beggars are CAPABLE of enduring REJECTIONS and WILLING to beg
. Do you
capture my vision now?

Add a little flavor into the ingredients we have now. Humor and entertainment added into the
charity association and the beggars.
What is the mixture we have just
discovered? An amazing opportunity to save
the beggars and save lives!
How?

1st, the charity associations should arrange with the mass
media to have a national search for humor talents, jokers and clowns who are
voluntary and willing to be a part of the society who dare to make a difference!

These talented jokers and humorous charismas will plan together many workshops
to do simple tricks to amuse people! Yes, as more jokers and humorous
personalities come together, the better ideas are shared (the more
intelligently humorous their acts can be!). As I said, ideas breed ideas! In addition to that, I think charity workers
should plan motivational seminars and
sharing sessions
to help these talents share their ups and downs and continually
motivate them to help and share humor with others as their passion!

What comes next? These
talented volunteers will start a nationwide search for beggars from all corners
of the society, amuse them.
Yes I mean it, in their entire life, you could be the 1 and only person ever to make
them smile and more amazingly ever,
made
them laugh for the first ever time in their begging life!
You will be
surprised, I guarantee you they will be inspired and amused and love
to be like you!
Then it’s time you bring them back to the charity
organization and provide them the shelter and food.

Do you see the bigger
picture now? Host a series of workshops to inspire each other, but now you are
not just sharing with jokers and clowns, but include ex-beggars! Time for a
change
!
No more labeling of “beggars”;
now we call these “professionals” – “THE JOY GIVERS”!!

We all have seen artistic people making a living on the
streets in foreign country by requesting for tips, and we can’t ignore the fact
that they are enjoying every bits of their personally chosen life of selling
their skills on the streets to passers, why can’t we make a difference by nationwide calling?! Impress the foreigners that Malaysia is
even more ready than anyone to change into a genuinely benevolent society and
yet amazingly entrepreneurial nation!

It’s definitely not hard to do this. How much do the
government and corporate companies have to sponsor
these could-be potential “JOY GIVERS”?
The corporations can collectively
produce thousands f Charity T-shirt with their corporate logos printed on them,
and collaborate with the government and the mass media to give a public announcement
of this charity act so the public is aware of it and together positively
embrace this trend!

Before I end on this, I would love to give credits also to
the multi level marketing and direct sales companies’ ideas of sharing and working together instead of competing with each
other
, which definitely inspired me along this way. I’m not associated with
any direct sales or multi level marketing companies, not planning to either but
I definitely respect them for their genuine hard work and willingness to endure
hardship that inspired me. To underscore the amazing power of their profit
sharing idea, I am humbly inviting any genuine Actuarist who shares our big
visions to join our business ideas and help us generate this amazing profit
sharing plan that could work wonders for the coming talents.

With a little genuine effort to make a difference, our world
can really become an ideal place to live in, not just a better place to live
in.

YouTV, I’m challenging 8TV

Sunday, May 4th, 2008

Since I’d promised to share 1 practical biz idea a day, I’ll
have to live up to it don’t I?

I really would hesitate sharing this at first but okay,
since I have the readers eyeing on my ideas now, it means recognition, and it
shall color my resume.

Okay before speaking of YouTV, let me first tell you, this
channel won’t be happening or even close to being successful until the earlier
few business ideas and a few more kept in my head take off smoothly. So rest
assured you can’t snatch this idea from me, unless you have me on board. =P

What is YouTV?

Yes, it’s going be tailored to meet you, you, and your
expectations and needs! And yes, YouTV also represents youth TV. If you notice
the creative art we can add by a tiny H in between T and V, it is already
looking like a handicapped H before I try to temper it, don’t you think so? So the
hype, we are gonna have all programs decided by extremely creative and talented
youths, and definitely presented by talented youths too!

Should I share on the programs that are going to be shown
there? A little insights probably. Yes the common things you can think of such
as fashion styling, reality shows, entertainments, youth choice awards, youth
choice movies, dramas, but also our YouTV exclusive news broadcasting that
shall be not only comparable to CNN world news, but more than that as the
leading youths will be providing insights into all areas.

Not convinced yet? Okay more insights. We will include
exclusive highlights on the few most influencing bloggers of the day, highlights
on our superbly established online web portals, for instance for
bizideas.com.my which I am more than optimistic will sell! Not only to
malaysia, but will go overseas and slowly be a trend worldwide! See what I see?
Email me at chrisshee@yahoo.com to be
a part of this vision soon to be taken off. I sincerely value talents and we
will be partners if you can prove to impress my partners too. let me remind you
not to copy my idea and take it as yours cause I’m more than sure that you’ll
make yourself a competitor you don’t wish to compete with in the future. Why compete
when we can collaborate and enjoy the synergy of best talents?

Okay for now. More insights next time. Hey don’t forget to
email me if you share the same vision and believe that you can be of value and
inspiration to me and my potential partners.

A Challenged Mindset

Sunday, May 4th, 2008

Before I start this probably controversial discussion, I
hope readers as well as hypocrites are ready to take a step back, breathe in
deep, relax and just be open-minded to give me a chance to be heard. And yes,
give yourself a fair chance to listen to what others have got to offer to you. You
can decide to stop reading here if you think this mumbo-jumbo blogger here is
just another typical nobody who’s fighting to outshine others, do feel free to
miss out what I’m about to share from paragraph 3 onwards.

Let me make an introduction. Yesterday, I went to Putra
Nilai Industrial Area for the first time with my family and it definitely
widened my horizon. I’ll have to say, I love the entire idea of this super
value textile, handicraft, wholesale and shopping industrial spot especially
having linked to the tourism idea! Fabulous! Big hands for the mastermind
behind the idea! Honest. My appreciation to the team behind the amazing idea
and I’m honored as a Malaysian to eye-witness this huge one-stop shopping/
tourist venue/ destination under the extremely Malaysian atmosphere. Yes it’s
open-aired. Sort of similar to the china town idea I guess but perhaps focused
slightly more on our beloved Malay entrepreneurs. I hope our dear Malay friends
out there don’t take this statement and topic as offensive but instead a
challenge if it’s worth internalizing and reflecting upon. And mind you, I am
not any against the public funds channeling to our Malay friends as I do
believe that you need it more than us do, not because you are the natives of
this beautiful country, not just because you are the majority and never that we
fear your power in numbers, but because we as a whole in Malaysia cannot
prosper if the majority is not doing well! We need to work hand-in-hand to make
Malaysia truly spectacular to the world!

So what had I observed in Putra Nilai Industrial Area? First,
plenty of HUGE retail businesses ranging from textile and handicrafts, carpets,
artworks, restaurants, even vegetable market to other smaller retailers such as
dry food retailers and maybe some other I missed out. Secondly, and most
disturbing to me, the ratio of sellers to customers is likely 10 to 1! (Mind
you, I’m not focusing on racial ratio of near 9:1 BUT the prospects of this
INDUSTRY!) If you see what I see, instead of raging against the government’s
unfairness against the minority races, shouldn’t we just focus on the bigger picture of building a stronger
nation
?! Thirdly, the distressing fact that I eye-witnessed a lot of “complacency” within these business
owners, who appeared lay back and relaxing while in their OWN SHOPS!! With all the RESOUCES
and EFFORTS subsidized and granted
by the government, I’m NOT MAD, but EXTREMELY UPSET seeing this widespread
phenomenon
. Honestly upset, not angry, but disappointed..

Take this as a compliment our dear Malay friends, we know
that there are many TALENTED people
amongst you, and you are definitely SMART.
But think again; reflect upon yourself, had you made wiser use of your smarts
and the endless assistance provided by our generous government, shouldn’t you
have achieved the same standard of living the upper middle class races now?
Instead of making use of the government funds and enjoying the fruits of it
laying down there and taking things for granted, shouldn’t you fight hard to
impress us (the non-majority, I’m NOT racist) with DILIGENCE and SERIOUS BRAINWORK?!! You are smart, undeniably, but is it wiser to insist to fight for your
KETUANAN KEPADA TANAH MELAYU for the government to continue feeding you OR
better take this GIFT of god (the
government’s relentless support) to STRIVE
for something that can bring you SUSTAINABLE
GROWTH
and SUSTAINABLE WEALTH in
a more REASONABLE MANNER?!!

Think hard, really hard! Is it better you continue to
marginalize the non-majority by making them work harder for you (and hence
tougher and more COMPETITIVE in the GLOBAL level) while you continue to lay
back (lackadaisical, the Malaysian-made-famous “TIDAK APA attitude”), INSTEAD
OF learning the TRAITS of the
non-majority’s SUCCESSES
?! My dad used to advise me to set my mind overseas
for better prospects because Malaysia honors no talents.

Think about it, think HARD!
Do we, the non-majorities earn our wealth by mere luck, or enjoy the supports
of our beloved government, or simply because god gives us a chance to be ENTREPRENEURS?!!

NO NO NO!!! Think
again! We fought like hell (not literally with PARANGS and by RAGING to
the government with street demonstrations or politicking with our race to
DRAMATIZE the racial divide and bluntly fight for common interest which is
KETUANAN whatever whatever
) in silence by working
extremely hard over the years, by thinking and analyzing very meticulously why
and how we can make ourselves better and stronger (in terms of wealth and
achievements) in the future. It is ingrained in our souls, even in the souls
and rooted principles of our ancestors,
to
work extremely hard through the worst conditions and progressively achieve
optimistic future, even if the light is dim
. Perhaps we should fault
the wealth of Malaysian history, which is honestly our PRIDE during then. The Malaysians were amazingly wealthy and well
off during those days as compared to Chinese and Indians in their mainland
those days. Had you seen how we viewed Tanah Melayu as a land full of
opportunities and complete with more HUMANE conditions
as compared to
the TOUGHER conditions back then living in China and India during the
historical days, and being willing to work extremely hard simply because of the
little more prospects of wishing for a better life latter on
. Think
about it, the Chinese working damn hard in China those days don’t even have a
chance to own what he worked extremely hard for, thanks to Communisms. The
Indians worked darn hard in India during those days under the discrimination by
their own “fairer-skinned” counterparts! Under the worst of conditions, we made
our mark in Malaysia, though tiny compared to other more amazing leaders in the
world. Should you grumble about not having ENOUGH SUBSIDY or NO SUBSIDY instead
of rationalizing how we made our mark and becoming self-sufficient? I’m not
urging the government to erase the Malay quotas or reduce or even erase subsidy
for them BUT educate all Malaysians
about the true and genuine ways of being
SUSTAINABLY SELF-SUFFICIENT and INDEPENDENT! Continue to shower the
majority with resources and they have no idea about how lucky they are and what
HURDLE and HARDSHIPS can truly bring
up
an unbelievably successful individual. Then again, the minorities
do possess traits that are not admirable too, for instance, being too
realistic, unwilling to share or selfishness at times, a little cunning
sometimes, a little more arrogant and perhaps more you can name a list. But take
notice of this, no matter who and what races we are, we are not perfect, and we
have got to admit that we need to learn from each other, and hopefully better
ourselves. Kick off the bad traits and embrace the good ones; don’t all
religions teach us this? Admit that we were bad and correct ourselves with
sincerity!

Perhaps I’m just one of the culprits who know nothing but
spend all my parents’ hard earned money like water, but I do acknowledge the
fact that my parents work freaking hard to earn NOT for themselves but for
their children! In fact, my mum, up to the age of 50 plus now, spends RM2 something only every meal to save
for us and we, the sons on the other hand spend RM4-5 or even more on every
meal outside and still having “disposable income” courtesy to their generosity,
to go for entertainments! Yes I know I was bad. But the point is, our parents
has this principle deeply rooted into their lives, which is, despite
the hardship and the incommensurable satisfaction earned from their work, they
worked so hard only to make sure that their next generation have a little
something to benefit from their hard work
. My mum is definitely a
workaholic who never stops working on things she believed in wholeheartedly and
sleeps only at most 5-6 hours a day. Regardless of how successful my mum is as
an employee, she is definitely my super mum, she is definitely a successful mum
seeing the amazing generosity of a
mother
. The point I’m underscoring here is that we, the non-majorities also
believe in working extremely diligently
for the greater good of our NEXT GENERATION, NOT for our own self
. That’s
also why we plan around having babies and not many but self-sufficient! We make
sure that our babies get the best education
and shelter
we can provide them with. Think about it.

Had I underscored the
number 1 factor non-majorities ingrained in themselves in order to succeed? We WORK extremely diligently despite the
odds of hardship and unfairness
. That’s partly why some of us got so
infuriated against the majority sometimes. Not because we are racist but because
we fought so hard for so little. Think about it. And I do understand that the
majorities could be going through a “complicated
self perception conflict”
state whereby they do not understand why as the
origins of the land who were very
capable
, they didn’t thrive as well as the minorities but seemed left
behind by the nation’s economic developments. If I were you, if not given
enough education and/ or proper mentoring, I guess it’s highly possible that I might
be joining the troop to come against as infuriated people who demonstrates for
dramatic change and attention. I can totally understand how it feels like to see my people suffering or not making their best possible
they can in life and yet restricted by knowing how hard it is to bring them
forward by aggressively instilling into their minds to change especially when
it is contradictory to their ingrained beliefs
(thanks to the skeptics who
led ahead of you, perhaps they have brainwashed your people, be it sincere or
with hidden agendas maybe eyeing on power {the fact is some of these “leaders”
are not born faithful nor ready to accept critics and change for the better}), work harder instead of forcing or relying
on the government to save them
. It is hard even for an exceptionally genuine
and talented leader born from the less maintained rural areas to be heard his
or her RAGE for a fairer opportunity, especially when he is on his own. He needs the power of number to be heard,
and without the support of at least his people
(who could be less open for new
ideas and explanations) in him, can he
even stand a chance to stand out and do something for them?

Everything started
from a sincere wish to help others and make things better, but as time
progresses, and more negative influences from a not-so-ideal world out there,
this little compassionate individual may end up a changed man. Who may
eventually find reality so hard to accept (worse to even temper with) and ended
up embracing the material evil that everyone in the urban devours for. The temptations,
the lusts, the power, the material wealth, the social status, the politics; can
we ever sincerely solve problems? Can corruption ever be changed? I have deep
belief in our current PM Pak Lah despite the wide preference over Tun M. He
showed a different side of a modern day leader. Perhaps there are critics
saying that he is lazy and not doing his work. I don’t buy into everything
critics say, because they never know how to stand from an impartial viewpoint
by analyzing and sharing also the goods of people they criticize against. And the
greatest thing about PM Pak Lah is that he never fought aggressively against
the people who got so personal against his beliefs and actions no matter how
hard they attack. He is a true saint, regardless if he is shrewd or effective
enough to be a CEO. Malaysia is now on a different set of environment compared
to the days Tun M led us, we need a positive mindset change instead of aggressive
remarks and actions to force people to see us, (say NO to WHITE ELEPHANT
projects!) PM Pak LAh is one-of-a-kind leader to set his mark on building a
moralistic and spiritual foundation for Malaysian citizens! (At least this is
what I see him doing, not what he self-claimed that he is doing or asked me to
do!) Strictly not religious.

So, coming to the next observation. As I mentioned earlier
on is that these business owners are
contented and laid back. Take notice
that I am NOT infuriated BUT EXTREMELY UPSET.
Had the government provided them with all necessary workshops and consultation
they need to ensure the investments are
worthwhile in the EXTREMELY LONG TERM
?? Yes I am highlighting EXTREMELY Long term, not just long term
or short term!! I am pretty sure the masterminds behind the plan do plan ahead
but had you considered the possibility of the underlying failure of all your enormous plans (turning into WHITE
ELEPHANTS) are not because of the failure of your documented long term plans, BUT the MENTALITY, ATTITUDES, APPROACHES
and the LACK OF PROPER and UPLIFTING EDUCATION you need to plan for your people
.

Mentality as I said earlier on, the willingness to endure
hardship and work extremely diligently in order to hope for a slightly better
chance of succeeding and more towards building the strong foundation of sustainable
growth and self-sufficiency or independence.

Attitudes as in the right mindset by seeing your business
truly as your own baby (NOT the government’s funds) and wanting no less than making sure it profits by taking into
consideration strategic plans into the
future, taking actions to counteract inefficiencies and incompetency
, and treating your customers as your boss so
as to encourage them to cater your business again in the future! Do you even
have the slightest idea of how hard it is to repair the damage you caused for a
bad reputation you made to 1 client? Look at the sour faces some of your
employees put on. Look at the laid back and don’t-care-a-damn attitude (lackadaisical)
or sluggish/ slow reactions a few of your employees project! Let’s imagine how
you as a customer feel when you are trying to have a nice meal at THAT
restaurant and 9 times out of 10 it’s not even open!! You have any idea how
that sucks and failed your reputation?!! And here’s a hint from the pros, it is
10 times costlier to rebuild your
reputation than to build a new business
!!

 That’s precisely why
some of us do not agree with the quotas and subsidy you provide the majority.
Not because we are racist but they DO NOT know how to APPRECIATE it! Even if
they do feel blessed, did they project
the appreciation image to the public
?? Did they make full use of it to prosper and show the PUBLIC INVESTORS that they
are worth investments?!! Have you
the slightest idea that they have totally no idea how enduring hardship and wanting
to make a difference means
? Yes I do agree that the majority of our
Malay friends are living under average conditions that the minority should be
glad we are better off but do you know that we actually fought ourselves very hard to achieve this little difference, and NOT
literally fighting the way I stressed upon earlier
(refer paragraph 4 in
the mid section) BUT willingness to work
very hard under stressful and even unfair conditions and yet do not complain so
much
!

Approaches as in how the government offer specially tailored
workshops to educate them about businesses in BETTER ABSORBABLE ways (refer to the best workshops produced by
multinational companies that are widely acclaimed their training workshops,
humbly refer to the best people to learn and achieve synergy of efforts!) and
do consistently follow up instead of blindly offering workshops that see slow
progress! It’s a WAKE-UP CALL here!
NOT CRITICS for no reasons. I may not be right completely, but I’m sure there
are solid points you have got to take heed of and at least just try
understanding from my point. Just the way I took heed of every single
individual’s point of views even when I am skeptical about their inputs and
thoughts! And the result is - me! Who am I? A nobody but somebody who at least
knows how to challenge my own mind to analyze and think critically for
solutions to little problems we face in this POTENTIALLY IDEAL WORLD (but I sure believe I am one-of-a-kind as I
dared to speak up despite the potential critiques I am about to face on my own,
I have nothing to profit from this self-made project other than recognition if
that even stands a chance!). Yes I admit that I am just representing my own
stand here, not even a few people, but just me alone, because this is a
one-man-show. So you can choose to ignore my comments. Feel free to entertain
yourself. Stick with your closed box!

If I were you (the government), observing the widespread “epidemic” of failed small and
medium scale businesses
in the country despite
your encouragements and subsidies, assemble the country’s potential managers
and accountants
, the graduates and make it mandatory that all graduate
accounting students have to go through at least 3 months of internship in these
small businesses! And work on their final year project to impress upon the
community that they can solve a business
failure by analyzing the underlying problems and proposing practical solutions
that can be undertaken
! Okay the key point is, empower the accounting graduates
access to these businesses’ accounting records and make them utilize the
accounting and management theories they fucking learn in their courses and
implement them
! Have the
lecturers work additionally hard as well to follow up on these graduates’ real
life projects and make sure they are NOT benefiting at the business owners’
expenses!
They ought to know how serious it is found guilty of any
accounting or corporate scandal! This is practical learning! Not those gibberish  management and accounting internship jobs making
us work like IDIOTS being abused or exploited in even multinational companies
like the banking industry working as a data entry personnel or clerk!
Is
that what our internship function
supposes to teach us? I know you employers have your points, “the kids have to
learn through hardship by going through the groundwork and bla bla bla. Furthermore
they are not ready for any decision makings…” And couldn’t you give the
graduates more CRITICAL THINKING
ASSIGNMENTS
to challenge them instead when you, the employers are
complaining about the INCOMPETENCE of
our graduates nowadays
! Especially our uncompetitive
local university graduates
! Trust me; you can’t produce quality youths when
you are skeptical at first, not to mention the quality of the MEDIOCRE STUDENT MENTALITY! Where the
fuck is our DESIRE TO SUCCEED and MAKE A DIFFERENCE?!! I’m sure the
higher education minister has abundance of highly qualified and professional
talents that can work out a superior
education system that is feasible by progressively encouraging their talents to break free from that enclosed box and
think creatively, open-minded, rationally with reality-checks
! I’m optimistic that you can prove miracles are within grabs! Why
don’t you, as the highest authority sitting on the top appearing in the public
every now and then, a sincere believer who dares not THINK BIG and LIVE UP TO IT
by INFLUENCING FASTER POSITIVE CHANGES!
I know you are working hard, and I know that you are responsible and great, but
the thing is how can we educate the public that we should be competitive and
energetically hard workers (who are also smart
workers
!) when we ourselves are SLOW?!
Does that make sense?? If bureaucracy is
the limitation setting us back, then erase it by all means
! Okay I know
things need time to progress and change, but do occasionally give positive surprises highlighting miraculous
achievements
(done by the government, of course have to be backed with
solid evidence!) to the public, not just
anticipated progress that kick starts no inspirations
!! I AM CHALLENGING YOU FROM A NOBODY’S BIG
DREAMS
! Why don’t you make us even
more PROUD of you, you, and you and then collectively all of us, as MALAYSIANS
!!
That’s the true essence and spirit of “Malaysia
Boleh
!”. NOT just words without actions! (you may say that I am also
wording only without taking actions, but at least with my one man ability, I
wrote up to challenge a drastic change in our Malaysians’ mindset
! Had
I done nothing then?!!)

All comes to a conclusion; I wish no more to get racial
about anything in our lives from this day onward. All I wished is that we try
to love our buddy counterparts regardless of their skin colors and together we
thrive and succeed together in the eyes of the world. Take heed of each other’s
advices, not blindly accept them but internalize and self-reflect, then modify them
into one of your own. As Tun M always used dilemma in his speeches, and he
never failed to impress the “followers”, I’m not saying that he’s not good, but
honestly respect him a great lot for his beliefs and visions that put our
beloved Malaysia on the map today. Nonetheless, sometimes we have got to have
faith in the current administration for their benevolent work and try to stand
from others’ points of view. Everybody may have their hidden agendas behind
their vastly accepted public speeches. And not every one of them put others’
interests in front of theirs. Do criticize me by putting forward my
self-interest that you can claim as my list of hidden agenda, I’m definitely
not a great person or how I self-projected here as anyone but another selfish
individual perhaps. The only thing I dare stand up for is that I am an Idealist. And I do believe that IF EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON EARTH CARED TO
TAKE A STEP BACK, REFLECT UPON OWNSELF, AND GIVE OTHERS A CHANCE TO SPEAK OUT
THEIR MINDS WITHOUT PREJUDICE, WE CAN SOLIDLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

The world will not only be a better place to live in, but an IDEAL
WORLD to live in. Believe it or not.

hackaday.com is cool~~

Saturday, May 3rd, 2008

Cool site! I just checked out your recommended site,
hackaday.com!

i must say that these people must be experts in IT, Com
Science, Robotics, Engineering and stuffs right? Wow I’m sure they are the
geniuses behind those mega leading tech in our modern world! And they can
definitely make them happen, I bet they can!

However,  something really
inspiring about it is that the genius behind the idea is actually a comic
artist! Well I don’t know if he is an engineer by profession before switching
into the comic world. But I bet he is a “visualist” who inspires people! At least
he dared to document his brilliant ideas which could prompt other geniuses to
think further and invent something perhaps!

Too bad I’m not technical enough to offer any invaluable
insights to them.

But to be honest, I totally saw that cool 3D interface they
mentioned and was thinking if that is what the scientists and experts are on
now! So cool! I was so inspired by that but got to sit back after coz I
couldn’t do anything about it but wait and see if some "technocrats"
and super geniuses can blow our minds with that happening in front of us!
coOL~~

Nevertheless I really learned a lot of jargons related to
those cool tech tools in Iron Man. Here are some of the key terms that I think
any genius engineers and techno guys out there will be able to link together
and figure out something, naming a few are the inductive aluminum furnace, which
is the arc reactor producing 50GJ/s, photonics, ultrafast leasers, holographic
projector, multi-touch table, wii-mote, 3D tracking software and 3D CAD, the
idea of wearing a hologram on the hand, 3-d display for prototyping, and yea I’m
so inspired by the commenter saying that 3-d display for prototyping could be
used for something more than seeing a table full of photos! the power-user
design, remote controller arm/robot, the "heart-like" reactor, blue
LEDs, parallax/lynx motion robots, stamp/servo controller, OSX or Linux (haha
so cool for advertising for them instead of MS! =P), "interface that can
track a ‘pen’ across multiple screens and gaps in between", laser-scanner,
context and accepted voice and keypad entries, storm trooper armor, vacuform
table, and etc.

Quoting this especially, "It looks like a ton of fun
trying to start from scratch with basic code to get the thing to walk like a
person or at least walk fluidly with the ability to code some pretty neat
sequences."

These people are darn cool! Thanks Ingenieur, I may not be
able to do or share anything about it with those people over that site but they
definitely are inspiring and motivating!! =P

The hint of my ^VISION^

The hint of my ^VISION^

If you see what I envision progressing into the future. Let’s
see. All the plans that we are on now are definitely based on good faith to
share and breed new IDEAS! We have many sites going on intelligently impacting
youths’ lives thanks to the founders of youthsays.com and thecicak.com and many
more but these sites are more into KNOWLEDGE sharing.

If we are to inspire more young leaders to come forward and
join in this widespread sharing phenomenon, we need to add more variety; hereby
I refer to more visual and abstract attractions that can open up their creative
minds for more IDEAS! Why? Because I strongly believe our education system
focused too much on factual and memory work as opposed to out-of-the-box
creative thinking that CAN produce PROBLEM-SOLVERS. Let me state my point here,
the world is eyeing on POSITIVE CHANGE-AGENTS, NOT COPYCAT “PROBLEM-SOLVERS”. If
we manage to pull off our initial plans successfully we can stir the publics
hunger for MORE IDEAS and SHARING! Which definitely is a good thing!

What’s next? Look further on. And let me remind you, we are
gonna be unique entrepreneurs because of our idealistic approach of sharing our
IDEAS for FREE! That’s when the public will fear no COSTS to give us a try by
clicking to our sites and reading what we have got to share. Let me remind you,
we are doing social welfare, based on good faith, and we will stick to this
PRINCIPLE (GOOD FAITH and SINCERITY). If we manage to impress people with our
ideas, and they buy our ideas, then you can see that we are slowly influencing
the next generation of youths.

Do you get the inherent potential that comes from this
widespread influence? We are definitely not going to “brainwash” the coming
generation coz we are THINKERS who rationalize our judgments with the public
and base our decisions on compelling FACTS! And we engage the vigorous public
to share their critics against our ideas and thus encourage diverse points of
view! So who can say that we “brainwash” people now? So we will start to be on
the leading edge of ideas and ENDORSEMENTS. Mind you, the future has no limit. Think
about it yourself.

Do you see what I foresee now? We need talents and positive-change-agents
to pull off this VISION. Are you coming on board? If you want to know more, or
are keen to work with me (NOT for me) for this vision to come true, we’ll
discuss the more detail planning of a few more business ideas I’m structuring
around this vision. Do share your ideas.

And be a part of the POSITIVE CHANGE AGENTS network we are
building now, don’t be a copycat who steal ideas and make them yours.  Kick off the “kiasu” attitude and work with
ideals that are believable.

Chris.

let’s share one more biz idea here. okay web portal again.. hehe.. sorry to disappoint you, but i’m more keen to share this 1st for now.
i’m visualizing some kinda inspirational site again. it will sound sth like,

www.whatifs.com.my

so what’s great about this site will be that we, the moderators and editors will have brainstorm sessions and decide a probing question to the community, which we believe will have its positive chain effects and impacts.

okay for eg, what if we don’t have to squeeze like sardines in a can when traveling in public transports? then we complement the probing question with pictures and photos our creative photography people snap to inspire people to think out of the box and figure innovative and creative solutions.

what if we can fly? without using machines?

i bet everybody can think of more meaningful "what if" questions. but the thing i would like to stress upon here is, usually the most skeptical question can also be the most inspiring key to new inventions.

my 2 examples above may be lame to you now, but who knows? you never know who on earth, will be inspired by this simple question. you’ll never know. inspirations come from everywhere.

the reason i’m focusing on these inspirational sites now is cause i believe in building a strong ground for which we can generates millions of biz ideas and practical day-to-day life solutions.

by the way, yes this site should complement inspirations.com.my as well. for certain inspirational ideas that couldn’t be listed on the top 10 perhaps, we could make it useful by putting it in whatifs.com.my and probe internal questioning for answers.

maybe my points are a little blur now coz i should be sleeping at this hour.

good night..

Let’s see what the hypes are about.

Tagline: 1 practical
biz idea a day.

And had I caught your attention? It’s FREE!

Skeptical about it? Why should you if you have just eye-witnessed
a list of 4-5 business idea posted in my blog now. And it all happened within 1
week’s time. And there are some more in my mind now.

And imagine, you are just seeing one youth’s ideas now. What
if we have more talented youths joining in this widespread phenomenon?

We have inspiring talents and not only charismatic but
motivational leaders in a team recruiting ideas and talents for an unlimited
future ahead of us. And what more incredible is, these leaders are all below 30
years of age. What we call the PRIME AGE for OUT-OF-THE-BOX THINKING!

Why will we sell and grow huge? Traditionally and even up to
now, business entrepreneurs all more than fear competitions and never dared to
share their new ideas but keeping tight to themselves! The closest competition
to our web portal idea will be business consultancy and management consultancy
businesses BUT they charge their services for nominal fees, and worst of all,
their ideas are either hidden in their sophisticated safety box or just couldn’t come out facing the public’s merciless
critics!

What if we initiate this trend of sharing FREE amazing,
mind-blowing business ideas we, the CREATIVE youths BELIEVE in and have you all
inspired and get moving with the ideas? And you’re totally right, we’ll stick
to the plan, our motto, “1 practical biz idea a day!!!” yes you don’t read me wrong, 1 for EACH DAY! Yea how long will it
survive then? It depends on the public’s inputs too. How supportive the Malaysian
public is. And yes, MALAYSIA! The land that breeds MULTIRACIAL TALENTS!

Does that start to sound promising now? If not, what about
this? We don’t just earn from the advertising bucks like all other web portals
but more (discussed later). Well we can definitely profit from the ads and
sponsors if the ideas sell and the traffic starts hitting in daily! I’m
optimistic that our ideas will be priceless. Maybe you don’t. Read on.

The key is, a league of talented youths we came to network
with in youthsays.com. And do I not sound like a talented individual to you?

If I’m not good enough, would I have dared to share my
business ideas here public and not fear that you might snatch them away from me
and made them yours? Why? Cause I believe you can’t make it great without me on
board, and the talented people we have. Can you make a masterpiece without the
masterminds behind the project? Can you build powerplant without a generator? Of
course still, I have to credit many superbly great talents and leaders in
youthsays.com and of course the creator of the site for making me who I can be
now. Naming a few like, khai lee, joel, mike, jade, ingenieur, leslie, craxgrl,
Jackson, alex, summer and many more!

Okay back to our second money grabber. If our results happen
to speak louder than words, meaning that our ideas are brilliant, people wouldn’t
just want to freely take our ideas but consult us for business advices. So what
are we talking about now? We earn consultation fees. Let me remind you, we’ll
only have the best and talented individuals working with us, so how bad can our
solutions be? Afterall we dare to publicly sell our ideas, and genuinely original
ideas. If we ever have to quote or refer others’ ideas, we’ll definitely state
the source and add more invaluable insights to it. We will stick to our grounds
of ethical conduct and remain true to our principle of, “identifying potential talents
and rewarding them with recognitions to encourage them to grow better and
BETTER!” And people buy our ideas! Not literally buy but demand for, cause as Isaid, it’s meant to be FREE ideas! (Provided that we live up to our plans, I’m
optimistic so far. And if I weren’t, inspirations.com.my can assist in making these
miracles happen. Cause inspirations and motivations from all these talented
people I mentioned above inspires me heaven a lot!)

Last but not least, we shall make this portal an educational
one. Involving elements similar to inspirations.com.my I suggested earlier on
in earlier blog post. And what are those elements? Sharing and comment box for
inputs! That makes 2 way traffic learning. And yes you are right, we’ll
categorize our comment boxes into public comments and inputs from the PROs
again. I’m sure getting the experienced professionals wouldn’t be so hard then
seeing that our ideas are for everyone, not just for ourselves. And yes, IDEAS BREED IDEAS.

I’m very tired now. So enough for this round, I have another
3 more new business idea in mind now. Will share with you guys tomorrow. Sorry if
it disappoints you. Tomorrow’s will be another web portal idea.

But I hereby assure you, all these web portals are working
towards a bigger mission that I’ll share much later in my blog probably
depending on readers’ demand. I’m not sure how much traffic is hitting on
my blog now and what more to expect to know who read them, so I guess this
means little recognition as yet. Will I be demotivated and lose my passion for
ideas? Who knows. I guess I’ll have to depend on you guys as my inspirations
and sources of motivation. Thanks for reading. Good night and sweet dreams.

Will I have nightmares tonight? Sobs..

=P

Why Share? Why Not?

Friday, May 2nd, 2008

Politics? Reality-check? Dissatisfaction? Ego? Pride? Calculativeness? Worth? Rationale? Or simply the fact that I don’t feel valued or recognized enough to justify my willingness to share my visions and business ideas? i don’t know and I need some time to adjust to it. I’m turning 22 soon and I have yet started any progress to turn any of my visions to life, I’m still a dreamer and just a fucking dreamer!!! Perhaps I’ll sink in thanks to the “positive neglects” I get in platforms I genuinely believed can nurture my talents (if you believe I have).  I’m not sure if people truly appreciate me as a mediocre idiot, or are wisely planning behind me to make use of my ideas, or simply finding me a laughing stock? But the truth is, who am I to ask for the recognition or faith from people? And I am not wrong to have reality checks. The truth is, people do backstab even their closest partner! How cruel life can be.. sighs.. why am I having this dilemma now.. the only best justification is, I’m having self-doubt now. Thanks for not positively encouraging me, peepz. Some do, and I’m deeply flattered, indeed. But I guess some peepz just dragged my ambitions down before I even started sharing them. And the worst of all, they mattered to me. I didn’t understand why, but I’m truly upset.  So I am in fact having 3 solid business ideas in my mind now, sorry I’m just not ready to share them as yet. Anyway they may sound stupid to you, but I do believe in every one of them. it’s just a matter of waiting for the right persons with either the right set of believes and visions, or network, or capital, or capacity to influence, to park in and have us synergistically brainstorm over its probability. But honestly I hope to find the 1st set of people. I believe thus far, Michael Teoh, Jade Lim, Ingénieur and Alex Lee are who I truly cherish getting to know and sincerely hoping I can work out something together with. Why? Because I believe in them and most of all I think they see me before I even shine with a dim of light. And my appreciation and thankfulness to the incredibly awesome young entrepreneur Mr Ng Khai Lee and Mr Joel Neoh for creating youthsays.com, which indirectly introduced me  to vast pool of talents and inspiring youths in Malaysia.
